ISTE 2011
Just about a year ago, we began thinking about rough idea that would become Desmos after flying to Denver and visiting the International Society for Technology in Education’s annual conference. We’ll never forget the way it felt to walk into the exhibit hall for the first time to see flying displays and bright colors stretching off into the blurry distance - slightly overwhelming, but mainly just exciting. We’d stumbled upon the main Ed Tech event of the year. Within three short days, we’d met as many people as possible and gotten a pretty comprehensive perspective on the hardware and software available to teachers around the world.
One year later, we’re going back as an Exhibitor (booth # 2762). Armed with a booth and a determination to meet as many people as possible, we’re looking forward to spending half a week in Philadelphia (June 26-29). Click on the title of this post to visit the main conference page - more updated about Desmos @ ISTE to follow.
New Project - Testers Needed!
The last week has been spent reorienting ourselves after TechCrunch Disrupt, taking a quick breath, and getting back to work on our next big projects. In addition to furiously building the public launch of the Desmos content community, we’ve somehow found the time to develop a new piece of software. This project will be an integral part of our future development, and we’d love some beta testers. If you’re interested, email us at info@desmos.com.
